Abstract Submission


Abstracts of contributions (oral and posters) to be presented during the Conference should be submitted in "text" format (rtf- preferably).
Submission is exclusively via e-mail: sti2011@jinr.ru.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Programme Committee. Contributions will be selected as talks or posters. Selection of abstracts will be notified on May 1, 2011.

Abstract Text

Abstract must be written in English and contain a brief clear statement of conclusion.

Abstract text (1 page A4) must be in Times New Roman font and should be contained within the area 16 cm wide by 24.8 cm high including place for page numbers.

Since your abstract will be photographically reduced to 70 % of its original size, the font size should not be smaller than 12 pt. Use single spacing.

The Heading (in CAPITAL LETTERS), author's last name and initials and some important details (full name of organization; country, mailing address, e-mail) are centered.
The presenting author is first and underlined.
The heading and the author's name should be in bold font. Affiliations (in italics) must be concisely reported.
The heading, author's name and whereabouts should be one-line spaced, between the author's whereabouts and the abstract's text there should be a two-line space.

The whole text, including tables, figures and references should be contained within the boundaries as mentioned.

Tables should be inserted appropriately in the text with captions above them. Figures must be glued in place. Halftone and color figures are not accepted. Figure captions must be typed in below the figure. The references indicated by square brackets ([1], [2]) should be continuous.

Remember that your abstract will be rejected if it occupies an area exceeding the permitted dimensions.
